Meg Adamson is a Portland, Oregon based multidisciplinary artist focusing mainly on painting, sculptural and mural installation, as well as tattooing.
While her personal work and style varies through collected experiences, lessons learned, and visions that lead her to learn more about the world inside, she is commonly focused on nature and natural history, curious human objects, and interpreting the subconscious.
Most recently, after 8 years of tattooing professionally, she has been exploring a combining of natural history with inspirations from the weirder side of punk tattoo culture and its and its graphic themes.
Although artistic consciousness came to life amid the deserts of her childhood home in Las Vegas Nevada, she moved to Portland in 2006 to pursue a BFA in painting from PNCA. She dropped out of art school after 7 years of painting and sculpture study to pursue a life less focused on tastefully criticizing others, and has been unlearning ever since.
Meg owns Reliquary Tattoo in Portland Oregon, and has been tattooing “on the side” since 2015.
